a quick post before work

Well hey all,

its one of those days today.
I start work at lunchtime so I am at home doing not much at the moment.
trying to grasp on to my remaining sanity. I have one hour before I leave.

in other news I am playing beach handball down at the bay this summer. I have played two games so far and its fun. my body takes a bit of a beating though!

Needed to post an update about me.
I have recently started metal detecting... isn't that nice?

I have a bounty hunter quick silver.
its a cheap unit but good to get out and hunt and learn the basics.
I have found about $60 in coins, a few pre decimal coins and a whole heap of Junk!

Annual leave

I'm currently on annual leave, my first official day. for the next two weeks I will be going away twice! and lots of tidying and doing jobs I normally don't do. today I put a computer in my garage :D I'm feeling really productive but its only the first day so who knows what will happen!? xo joe

My sunday.

Sundays are always fun.
Sleeping in till the sun hits my face.
Not going to work.
Spending all day with my wife.

Today we went for a walk for charity. A cool 3km walk.
We are now sitting in a little breakfast cafe by the beach.
Its after 2pm but we need breakfast.

The sun is shining and there is a nice breeze.
The only bad thing about today is it will soon enough be over.
But I will relax while I still can.

Lost my heart in the Black Hills

Just now,

I got back from the pooraka markets and I picked up a couple of pieces.

1. external bell ringer for telephones.
2. two "lobby cards" for calamity jane!

normally I go to the gepps cross markets too but today was very raining so I didn't bother (pooraka is under cover but gepps cross isn't).

Easter time

Well its Easter. Working in retail, this is the best holiday. I get three days off work (not in a row though).

Today I woke up and went for a run. I cleaned the garage a little.
Amy and I went and visited gammie and pupa.

Now I'm relaxing. Charlie is happy we are home, he follows us around when we are home.
